God is a faithful God. He watches over His Word to perform it. The Bible is full of reminders of God’s faithfulness. He promised Abraham, he would have a son and though it took 25 years the promise was fulfilled. The Bible says faithful is He who has begun a good work in us and He shall perfect it (Philippians 1:6).

When a number of followers deserted Jesus, he turned to his 12 disciples and asked them – would you also leave? They answered saying “whom shall we go to, you have the words of eternal life”.

When God calls us into a certain role, He also equips us to succeed in this role. See the words of David in Psalm 18: 31 – 34.

What vision has God has placed in your heart? What has He asked you to do? Take the step of faith and begin it. He has equipped you with what you need to succeed and He is committed to playing His role. As long as you stay committed to playing your role, He will bring the vision to pass.

This vision is for a future time. It describes the end, and it will be fulfilled. If it seems slow in coming, wait patiently, for it will surely take place. It will not be delayed. Habakkuk 2:3 NLT
