The Amazing Love of God

The Amazing Love of God

“Never! Can a mother forget her nursing child? Can she feel no love for the child she has borne? But even if that were possible, I would not forget you! See, I have written your name on the palms of my hands. Always in my mind is a picture of Jerusalem’s walls in ruins. Isaiah 49:15-16 NLT

My second daughter is a toddler and as is the case with toddlers she needs to be attended to, given her meals etc. A few days ago, I was busy in the room trying to get some work done, so I asked my daughter’s nanny to feed her. Soon after I heard my daughter crying and then it dawned on me that her nanny had forgotten the instruction and had gone off to do something else. Thus I had to go to the kitchen to get it done myself.

As children of God, we are always in God’s sight. We are the apple of His eye. He has inscribed us in the palm of His hand. He knows our needs even before we ask.

Someone may wonder why we have to pray if He already knows our needs. There are times when God will provide for our needs even when we haven’t asked. There are other times when He provides for our needs after we have asked. Either way He chooses to do it, it must strengthen our faith in His goodness.

Let’s be comforted and know that no matter what we may be going through, the Lord has not forgotten us. The psalmist David said ‘even if my father and mother abandon me, the Lord will hold me close’ . Psalms 27:10 NLT

Shalom

All we have to do is ask and believe he will answer us.

May God continually shield, guard and guide you, in the mighty name of Jesus.

The best is yet to come.

Somewhere around the month of May last year, the presence of Spirit of God was so strong I kept receiving revelations from the word and I thought that was it. I began using my strength and relying on myself to have what I had in May, before I realized, I was asking myself, Lord why have you forsaken me?
Recently I began feeling worst than I have ever felt about myself… Then the Lord began teaching me about His love. His love is everything because He himself is love. I’ve witness His patience with me even when I couldn’t be patient for myself. Indeed, He never leaves us, His heart wouldn’t permit Him.

    God bless you Mrs. Afutu.
